Annes Elwy, whose breakout performance in the BBC adaptation of Little Women hit screens over Christmas, has garnered praise for her role as Beth, the third March sister who dies after contracting scarlet fever in Louisa May Alcott’s classic coming of age story.

The Welsh actress has also appeared in an episode of last year’s sci-fi anthology series Philip K Dick's Electric Dreams, as well as Welsh films King Arthur: Excalibur Rising and The Passing, and will next be seen alongside Michael Sheen and Dan Stevens in Gareth Evans’s Apostle, a film about a man’s attempts to rescue his sister from a religious cult, which is set for a 2018 release.
